tmcmurph Posted November 2, 2008 Share Posted November 2, 2008 First game of the season for the Calgary United FC at the Calgary Soccer Center (their new home for the season). I don't know how the other US teams are but Denver is every bit as good as Calgary and Edmonton. Calgary won this one 5-3 but Denver were up 3-1 at one point. The game was the typical sprint and hussle that arena soccer offers with both teams very evenly matched. Calgary carried the play more but Denver made the most of their chances with some nice finishes. Gone is the 3 point goal. All goals count for 1 point.
