Jason
I was checking the CPSL site (sorry I just can't call it CSL) and I noticed that Nikki Budalic is on the Oakville Blue Devils roster. Has he played much and how is he doing? Is he biding his time to move upwards again, or is he giving up on chasing the pro dream? Jason
Rocket Robin
I saw him play June 23rd for Serbian White Eagles against Laval. I saw Oakville as recently as July 2nd and he wasn't on their roster. I'll let you know if he's still on the roster when they play this Friday in the Open Canada Cup against the Toronto Lynx.
obdfan
I do not know where you saw that. Budalic signed with Serbian White Eagles not long ago. He has played 2 games with them. In the second one he scored a goal. He is listed as a member of Serbian White Eagles squad on the official league website: http://www.cpsl.ca/teams.asp?id=

Rocket Robin
He's even mentioned in the Lynx press release: LYNX MAKE OPEN CANADA CUP DEBUT FRIDAY EVENING The Lynx will make their debut in the 2006 Open Canada Cup tournament this Friday, July 14 at 7:30 PM, when they face the CSL’s Serbian White Eagles in a clash at Centennial Park Stadium. The second round match, however, will be a road game for the Lynx in their own stadium as the White Eagles also call the Etobicoke stadium home. The game marks the first entry by the Lynx into the annual competition and continues the club’s mandate to develop soccer at all levels throughout the country. The White Eagles feature former Lynx star Niki Budalic at striker and are undefeated in CSL play this season. Tickets are $15 for adults, $7.50 for youths 12-16 and free for those under 12, and can be purchased at the gate prior to the match.
