Attendance was announced as 2192. (looked like 1800) which was a huge crowd for the team's first evening midweek game with the team playing at home for the first time since June 8th. The crowd was generally younger than those that usually watch the mean's team their numbers certainly rival that team. That makes the fifth appearance and fifth home win for the Lady Lynx this year so that may have something to do with it. Hey top those gentlemen!

The Lady Lynx put the game away in the first half with a fast start.

They dominated the whole game. Anne Ogundele came in as the Lady Lynx goalie for the second half replacing Stacey Van Boxmeer but neither had much to do. Julia Boschetta was kept busy the whole game in the Canadians net as her team was out shot 27 to 8.

Kim Warner impressed again with her speed outrunning the defenders while in possession of the ball and sprinting for through balls behind defenders. These were her 10th, 11th and 12th goals this season in her 10th game of the season. This should merit consideration for the national team as there's no reason the entire Canadian National team must play for the Vancouver Whitecaps Women and Ottawa Fury. She did look faster in the first half.

Holly Lincoln was moved up to winger/forward and scored two goals and got in some good crosses.

I saw more frustration in the Canadians play with some rougher play than their meeting last month.
