AlanDouglas
Looks like I have to re-enter my login and password each time, but otherwise we're in business. Whitecaps Women at Seattle. Kickoff at 4pm PT.
AlanDouglas
The game is underway. Jodi-Ann Robinson is not available today to school commitments. However the Caps do have newly signed American midfielder Mahlleace Tomsin on the bench. And before I can even finish typing this, Seattle have scored. Goal at 4' by Hillary Heath who got a defence-splitting pass, beat the offside and went in alone on Sian Bagshawe. 1-0 Seattle now in the 7th minute. AlanDouglas
Halftime and still 1-0 Seattle. Not a lot good chances for either team. Some shots outside the box by Franko that the keeper saved, and a high bouncing ball from Kate Qually that the keeper misjudged and barely managed to grab on the line after backpaddling. Seattle had a quickly taken indirect free kick in the box but it deflected wide off a Whitecap.

Richard
Seven players lost to the national team, a flurry of callups from the reserves and first official loss in 31 games. Not too shabby.
DJT
Hey, neat. If only this could have been done for men's matches in previous seasons when there weren't Webcasts (though there was that one VC-deciding match where Alan actually phoned me with updates - very nice of him).
