Gold Cup Quarterfinals begin Saturday in Foxboro, Miami; Conclude Sunday afternoon in Mexico City

18.7.03 - The 2003 quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup begins Saturday, (19 July) with an intriguing match up between the host USA and Cuba at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, at 13:00, with the winner traveling to Miami, Florida for the first of two semifinals (other at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City) at the Orange Bowl on 23 July.

Following the USA-Cuba duel, Costa Rica will face El Salvador in an all-Central American quarterfinal in Gillette Stadium at 18:00, while in Miami's Orange Bowl the two invited teams from South America, Colombia and Brazil, will face each other at 20:00.

On Sunday (20 July) at the Estadio Azteca, Mexico will oppose Jamaica, in the last of the quarterfinals at 12:00.

The semifinals will be in Miami and Mexico City on 23 and 24 July respectively. The third place game is set for the Orange Bowl next Saturday (26 July) and the final itself will take place at the Estadio Azteca on 27 July.

All other sources say that this game is at 15:00, not 13:00.
