Luis_Rancagua
New Zealand is moving forward with a business plan to revamp their pro-league. Canada should follow this example. NATIONAL LEAGUE REVIEW 20-May-03 SOUTHERN TRUST NATIONAL LEAGUE REVIEW In accordance with New Zealand Soccer’s 4 year Business Plan produced and published last year, a review of the National Men’s Soccer League is currently being carried out by an independent panel. That process involved the Board of NZS being fully informed of progress at it’s latest meeting last week. The fact this review is taking place should not be of any surprise to any clubs or officials, as it is clearly stated in the Business Plan (posted on the New Zealand Soccer website www.nzsoccer.com). Clubs were advised in 2000 that a review of the league would take place during and after the competitions 3rd season to establish best business practices. This was confirmed again in July 2002 during planning for the 2003 season. Once complete, the recommendations of the independent panel will be reviewed and the future format of the National League established.
L.T.
What example? It doesn't say anything. The last thing we need is another 'committee'. We need $$$ and a leader.
DJT
Luis, this article should be posted in the General Discussion section. It has nothing to do with Canadian Pro & Semi Pro Soccer Leagues. In order for the system of using categories to work, users have to be careful about these things (and then moderators should correct any mistakes --- will mods be doing this or are you just looking out for troublemakers? (honest question)).
