ubuntu
Maybe a meaningless game, but still a disapointing result... il seems that it wiil be a difficult year in Montreal TROIS-RIVIÈRES - A goal by Severino Jefferson in the 78th minute, on an assist by Joey Gjertsen, gave the Impact a 1-0 win against its reserve team, the Trois-Rivières Attak, Friday, in an exhibition game at the Alphonse Desjardins Sports Complex. Goalkeeper Andrew Weber registered the shutout for the Impact and head coach Nick De Santis made seven substitutions during the match. Newcomer Rocco Placentino played his first game in the Impact uniform since he joined the club, Thursday, playing the last 27 minutes of the game. The Impact will play its next game Tuesday, May 27, against the Toronto FC at Saputo Stadium (7:30 pm, CKAC Sports, THE TEAM 990) in the first game of the Nutrilite Canadian Champions League.
