In what is now becoming a familiar story, Julian logged another 90 minutes and Deportivo got another valuable 3 points. This time the victory came away at Osasuna thanks to a Sergio penalty. Reports indicate that Depor were lucky to get the penalty, and coach Lotina himself admits that based on his team's play, a victory wasn't deserved. He does however add that during the early part of the season Depor played well, but lost on several occasions. Anyway, Depor are now in eight chasing the seventh spot for the Intertoto. Almeria are now currently in seventh on 48 points, with Depor just behind them on 46. Next weekend Depor have a tough game at home vs Barcelona. Then again the game is sandwiched between the two Barca-Manure semifinal matches, so I won't be suprised if Barca field a weakened line-up as the Liga is almost out of reach for Barca anyway. And in all honesty with Depor's current form it will be a surprise if Barca take anything from the match. Another congrats to Julian and Depor. The Depor fans have even been dreaming of a new Super Depor as the famous championship winning team was called.
