Final:

Ottawa 3 Laval 0

13' OTT Hamel

55' OTT Robinson

66' OTT Vermeulen

This result all but mathematically gives Ottawa the WVCE title: all they have to do is beat Sudbury on Saturday, then Sunday's match at Toronto (which could have been an interesting decider) will be irrelevant.

Sunday's match is already irrelevant with regards to the W-League Eastern Division playoff race, because this Ottawa vs. Laval result finalizes it: Ottawa and Toronto have now clinched the only two spots and will face each other in the divisional championship (making Sunday's match even less interesting as you'd think that neither team would want to show their full hand). The issue of home advantage remains, but Ottawa will clinch that with just a draw against Sudbury.
