You Canadians do not know at this stage how lucky you are to have the appointment of Dick Bate as Technical director. Unfortunately, judgement has already been made in some quarters, Its such a shame to make comment about someone you've probably never met. This guy is first class and is a great loss to the coaches who have been associated with him for many years over in the UK. Now you the grassroot coaches, the coach educators, the players and the national staff alike if the opportunity arises where you can get to watch and listen to this guy do not lose out on the opportunity. He is magnificient and cannot underestimate the value he will bring to your country. If there was something you knew would help you become better at doing what you do, would you be prepared to watch and listen to what that thing could be? If so, watch and listen to what Dick Bate has to offer and I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Oh boy are you Canadians in for a treat!
