leekoo Posted January 17, 2004 Share Posted January 17, 2004 FIFA president Sepp Blatter has caused an uproar by suggesting women soccer players should wear tighter shorts to bring more attention to their sport. Blatter said women's soccer needed different sponsors from the men's game and should seek to attract fashion and cosmetics companies by featuring "more feminine uniforms." But the FIFA president's comments about tighter shorts didn't get much support from the players.
