Prize money for Spain Players

Each player of the team will receive 30,000 Euros if they win the championship. For getting past Canada they receive something like 6,000 Euros, which would put their total prize money at around 14,000 total each. For every round passed they get an increasing amount of money.

I feel badly about posting this here, but it give you an idea what we are dealing with when we have NCAA players who cannot accept anything. In any case, given the salaries of most players on the Spain team, this kind of prize money is not in fact a lot. I would imagine that Iniesta is the most highly paid, and maybe he is getting 300-500 thousand Euros a year right now, though I am not sure if he already went through a contract revision since his first team appearances for Barça or not.
