shaku_bert
from teamtalk (which is normally less reliable than the national enquirer)....... Norwich are to play a practice game this week for the benefit of injured defender Jim Brennan. Brennan, a summer signing from Nottingham Forest, has been on the sidelines since pre-season after sustaining a thigh injury. But he is believed to be making good progress in his rehabilitation and manager Nigel Worthington is eager to put his fitness to the test. Worthington told his club's official website: "Jim Brennan is getting very close to being match-fit. "As there is not a reserve game until mid-December, we have arranged a game for him this week to see how he gets on over 90 minutes." http://www.teamtalk.com/teamtalk/News/Story_Page/0,7760,724386,00.html
