George Posted November 11, 2003 Share Posted November 11, 2003 Kappos played for AEK Sat. Nov 1st. The game was a league contest against PAOK. PAOK are no pushovers, they sit 2nd in the league and are still alive in the UEFA Cup. By all accounts Kappos put in a good performance considering his lack of 1st team experience. AEK fans still consider him as a good prospect. Unfortunately, Kappos was out of the lineup for AEK's last game on Nov. 9. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Here is a game report from an AEK fan site in English: AEK-PAOK: 3-1 Return to winning ways for our football team who won relatively easy and fair PAOK with 3-1 in Ano Liosia stadium in front of 4000 fans. AEK played coherently for the entire 90min game for the first time this year and got the deserved 3 points. Nikos Lymberopoulos with a powerfull strike was the first to score in the 16th minute after taking advantage of a poor Atmatzidis save. Giannis Okkas capitalized on a Kappos’ assist, penetrated beautifully inside PAOK’s area and with a powerful shot send the ball for the second time into PAOK’s net.
