It's the World Perpetual Football Championships and basically how it works is, the guy started with the first official match in Scotland in 1872, declared the winner there the world champion and they then get to hold the title until they're beaten. The current champions are the Czech Republic. Canada has never played for the title and though it's a bit of a dubious honour, I think it could add a little spice to the friendly. I have no idea how many are scoffing, but personally I think this would be great. The Czechs took the title from the Dutch and have defended it only once so far. Anyway the site is a lot of fun. We've been women's champions for 20 days in 2000.
