Guest Jeffery S. Posted July 16, 2003 Share Posted July 16, 2003 Perhaps as part of their push to unify leagues, club play in top flight Austria and Switzerland got underway today. In Austria Ante Jazic dressed but was not one of the three subs as Rapid beat Pasching 4-2. This would confirm that he is close to being able to play but not fully in form. Perhaps he could only have been a sub for us in dire need anyways these first two games. Hastings GAK also won. In Switzerland Imhof's St Gallen lost to Young Boys 1-4, with Chapusiat still scoring goals. The Swiss site I checked mentioned Imhof was away with our nats.
