  1. It's the quarter-final match-up many people were predicting, including ourselves in Podcast 113. We also tipped England for the win though, so let's hope that doesn't come true as well! Both teams will also have expected to be facing each other at this stage and they know each other's game inside and out. The two sides have played each other a number of times recently, most recently in a pre-tournament friendly in Hamilton, where Canada narrowly won thanks to a wonder strike from Sophie Schmidt. 4. I was thinking about with all the recent news surrounding the caps in England(ie. paul barber signing, linked to keane, robbie savage, Haber and gage successful trials, and now the possibility of arsenal being linked with selgado), what the profile of the team is there? clearly it's not much, but is it more than other MLS clubs? I think Galaxy and Cosmos probably have the highest(relatively) profile, but could Vancouver be a close third? I'm too young to know but from what I hear vancouver was one of the highest profile clubs in Europe in the old NASL. maybe we just need a space inspired nam
  5. Hi Guys, After being a Voyageur since the beginning, I thought it was time to watch some matches back in the old country. I'm looking for some advice on what I should do while I'm over there. Anyone got any insight on pubs, special tours etc.? I've never been to the U.K. so any help would be appreciated. I've started a travel blog just so I keep track of everything, you can find it at http://www.footballadventure.com. So far the games I have tickets to are: Fulham v Wolves Portsmouth v Aston Villa Any help is appreciated. John Mark
