I don’t really have much time  for all this who’s playing and who’s done what with COVID tests. For me it’s a non starter.
The boys need to focus and do their thing.  At the end of the day this group of amazing Canadian lads at their best they will challenge anyone in Concacaf.

    Go Canada go!!

Bad news for Haiti but good news for us, I guess.  I can't watch the match live because my family is taking me out for my 60th tonight, so now I'm torn between just reading the result after or staying up after midnight to watch the replay on One Soccer and being a zombie at work tomorrow.  Whatever, because I'm 60 today, I'm predicting 6-0 for Canada.  Allez Les Rouge!

He better not impress the Chelsea manager too much.  Him going there would kill me.

I think is is based on timing. The GC is in July which will contrast with pre-season for a number of clubs.

Only one player is out, Martin experience. The others just had to wait an extra day, from what I’m reading.

The FHF with some story about players not being allowed to fly to the USA because they had been in Europe in the 14 days prior!?!?
Three of those guys will be travelling today instead, while Martin Experience won't be travelling to Chicago at all.
This is making me think of Olympic Qualifying all over again!

In the Davies thread you admitted to not being able to watch the game, to the point of not knowing if Cavallini played. You then suggested that Cavallini should play (presumably instead of Cyle Larin, who is the guy who scored for us yesterday) and then come to the thread of the guy who set up the goal and question if he should really be starting next game as well. I'm interested to catch up on the other threads to see who else should be benched, or if it is just the guys who created our game winning goal.

I'm the real Scott's Dad (not "slim shady") and yes I'm incredibly proud of him and happy for him.  Thank you.  He's a wonderful human being.  He makes it easy to be proud.  His ability on the pitch is an extension of who he is.  I've previously shared a story about how, as a young player (12 or 13), when Scott led the Calgary West team to win the Provincial Championship, his coach stated some prophetic words, he said: "Scott, it is said that one's true nature (good/bad) surfaces under intense competition.  Some crumble, some shrink back, others will compromise their integrity and values to win.  I've had the pleasure of watching you, and teaching you, and have asked you many time to compete.  To compete at a higher level, a championship level, to lead us on the field.  You never flinched, you stepped up and you delivered.  Your performance on the field was matched only by the integrity you displayed, even when things got ugly.  You are a premier athlete, not just because of your abilities, but also because of your character.  Any coach would love to have you on his/her team."   I am grateful to this coach for sharing these words and giving his time generously to Coaching Scott's team.  He made a lasting impact.  This kind of support and direction has helped Scott navigate the last 6 years climbing from the German 6th league to where he is today.
