    I’d say
    1. Ferdi
    2. Marmoush
    3. Ferreira
    4. Akinola
    5. Yankov
    6. Hakkinen
Mitrovic is already on record saying he will play for Canada and I expect we will see that in the not too distant future.
Ferdi and Marmoush are playing in the best leagues at this point, on good clubs and getting a decent amount of playing time. Ferreira is a definite improvement on any of our current CB’s, but is injury prone. Akinola did well in the tournament but still needs to show more and who knows how much he will play with Altidore being healthy. If he continues to play well, he will go up my list. Yankov is one for the future,  it might be worth a call up during the qualifiers against minnows to get him cap tied to us. I’m not sure Hakkinen is an upgrade over the current glut of similar CBs we already have.
    Just my .02 cents.

He’s not shy about his goals for himself and the CMNT.

I think we’ve all seen the skill set Liam brings to the table, a pacy winger/striker with boat loads of technical skills with the ball, as well as a knack for finding the back of the net. He was a young lad playing in a very rough/tough league in the SPFL and was a fan favourite, they wanted him back a second time. He’s a very important part of the future of this team, and, in my honest opinion, is who we see directly replace Junior on our wing opposite of Alphonso. Spitfire, i know every single one of us appreciate all the knowledge and information you bless us with on this forum, and we all look forward to watching you/your sons journey through the professional football world. Can’t blame a proud dad for wanting to quiet the haters, just know they’re a small, vocal minority. Thank you again!!

I’ve always been high on Liam and as someone who has played football, you can see the potential he has.
I think nowadays, a lot of supporters opinions are rather cheap and lazy. Easy to look at someone’s Wikipedia page, observe “data” and create some surface opinion. But in current times, that is the way of the world.
He clearly has a lot of quality and there’s a reason he’s on the books of arguably the best team on the planet.

Hoping Liam crushes his next loan. I am sure he will turn heads.

His missus reads the foums??  Mine will barely let me turn the TV to a game  and gives me a very bored/kill me now look when I start complaining about "some kid who grew up in canada but now wants to play for another country" for the millionth time.  As if when her fav soap hunk left young and the restless and went to Days of our lives I didnt hear about it for weeks!!

You are right I can’t atm comment not about loans and with all the Liam bashing of certain posters in other threads (more than one...) by the usual suspects I better not.
I end up typing a long reply stating all his stats and accomplishments records and who he plays for and how long of a contract with LFC he has blah blah blah
But what does it get me??! I end up deleting it as in the end to some people no matter how far Liam has come and how well he does it won’t change their opinion. Their issues are personal ,mostly uninformed and most follow an agenda.
Liam has his own pathway. He has done very very well and any call up or position  he has gotten is based on skill and merit And hard work. End of story.
He is a proud Canadian who is very honoured to have played for Canada and hopes to have  more call ups but every one will have to be earned.

And for the record him and his missus read this forum every now and then...
    have a nice night

good for him, Cruz Azul essentially tried to offload him due to his injury, good to know he has his heights set higher and is confident on his abilities, and quite frankly, he has the talent to back it up

I don't know but he's 17 at this time while the other three are 22, 20 and 21, so a direct comparison could be misleading.
A decade ago we had Street, Stillo, Santiago and a few other highly rated GK prospects in the same age group and none developed into a senior level keeper so I'm not going to get too excited about the current pool until one or more really establish themselves as starters.
Odunze is a very highly rated prospect with great potential. He has been at or near the top of the US goalkeeper pool, for his age group, the last couple of years and they always have a lot of depth in that position. I'd rather have a blue chip GK prospect over another potential depth piece in midfield.

We seem to have a glut of keepers around 20 years old. Is he better than Breza, Desjardins or Hasal?

I'd love to see Odunze switch to Canada. He has the potential to have a much greater impact on the CMNT compared to Yankov or Hakkinen, who will probably be no more than depth pieces.
If found this article on a US soccer site from a few months ago. Not sure if it has been posted before on the forum.

From looking at Twitter it seems like most Besiktas supporters want him to get another chance.
Balotelli and Papisse Cisse are rumored targets in the transfer window.

I agree 100%. The top Turkish teams seem to write younger guys off quickly and move on to older guys at the end of their career. If Besiktas decide Cyle isn’t going to be in their 18 game day squad, I hope they move him on before the summer/fall transfer window closes.
