Tonight at @PinatarArena, @CanadaSoccerEN's @sincy12becomes the first football player, male or female, to score an international goal in 20 successive calendar years, surpassing the world record set by Japan's Homare Sawa. A phenomenal achievement.

The Chicago Red Stars take Bianca St Georges ( WVU ) in the third round , number 20 overall. Apparently,  St Georges  has an American-born parent so she's applying for dual citizenship  ( Can-USA) .

No schedule  yet for the 2019 Algarve Cup , but according to  fpf.pt   Canada is in group A  with ( 22 ) Iceland and ( 20 ) Scotland. It seems that the tournament is going with 4 groups of  three instead of 3 groups of four --  like in past editions:
    Grupo A
    Canadá (5.º), Islândia (22.º) e Escócia (20.º)
    Grupo B
    Espanha (12.º), Holanda (7.º) e Polónia (34.º)
    Grupo C
    Noruega (13.º), Dinamarca (17.º) e China (15.º)
    Grupo D
    Suécia (9.º), Suíça (18.º) e Portugal (32.º)

The Seattle Reign have relinquished  the NWSL rights to Adriana Leon.  There is apparently  some unspecified interest in her from Europe. But she'll have to go through the NWSL distribution process first to see if another NWSL side will claim her.
    https://www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/seattle-reign-fc-elects-not-to-retain-rights-to-forward-adriana-leon/n-5433751
Matt Beard is now  coaching West Ham United in the FA WSL  and when he was running the Boston Breakers in 2017  he contacted  Adriana Leon (  then in Europe )  and brought her back  to the NWSL . Maybe history repeating itself?

[ 1  ]   You can see the incident around the 41:20 minute  mark  of the UCLA vs Penn State  match:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3pg8gBbzlE
UCLA was  in the attacking third, Sanchez puts in a cross from the right which deflects and goes to the left. Fleming and a Penn State defender are in a foot race to get to the ball. The defender gets there first a boots it forward but Fleming blocks it  at point-blank range and then goes down in a heap.   Fleming then gets up hobbling   and continues  playing  for another couple of minutes --  then takes herself out of the match.
[  2  ]  On the  formation:  I think Scott would be in the midfield.

^[  1  ] You're right , both Canadian fixtures are no longer on the scrolling ticker tape on the cbf  website.
[ 2 ] But  this  current Brazilian  article ( Sept 3, 2018 ) still  confirms the time and place for the closed door match:
QUOTE : A Seleção Feminina volta a campo na próxima terça-feira (4), às 19h (de Brasília), para o segundo amistoso contra o Canadá. O reencontro será realizado novamente no Estádio TD Place. Na primeira partida, as canadenses venceram por 1 a 0.

^ I think the time for the closed-door match is  6:00 pm ET, September 4, 2018 .  The Brazillian federation website  has both Canadian fixtures with start times listed ( I  presume in Brazilian time )  on their ticker tape  at  the top of the webpage. I think Brazil's time is currently one hour ahead of ET.
