  1. That's a great of info. I'll expand my post on him over at my blog. Thanks a lot Vigilante!
  2. Seems like a relative unknown. Guess we'll have to wait and see how he performs over the next few months. Thanks both for the help.
  3. Hi all, I'm the co-owner of the fan blog for Sengkang Punggol FC, a professional team in Singapore's S.League, or better known as the current home of ex-Toronto Lynx players Murphy Wiredu and and Jordan Webb. Both of them have started the season real well and has recently helped the club achieved 3rd place in the League Cup. In the league where we've played four matches thus far, Jordan leads the team goalscoring (three goals in the first three games) while Murphy puts his combative nature to great use in an all action defensive midfield role. Needless to say both have already earned
  4. You are fast, Eric! Anthony scored for the second match running. First time both of them scored in the same competitive game. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/04/27/sleague-season-2009-match-11/
  5. Sengkang finally snapped their losing streak. And Anthony scored the winner. 2 each for him and Murphy now. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/04/23/sleague-season-2009-match-10/
  6. Any idea how Murphy and Anthony are feeling about the situation?
  7. Our biggest defeat at home in our poorest turnout this season so far. Only one bright note from the match: Anthony finally scored his first goal, making an immediate impact when he came on in the second half. Seriously the coach has to go. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/04/11/sleague-season-2009-match-8/
  8. We know how good he is the first time we saw him in pre-season and it was just a matter of time before he scored. At the rate he is going, he could very well turn out to be the player of the season for Sengkang. The chairman of Sengkang has nothing but good words for Murphy, praising him for his utmost professionalism and his dazzling displays.
  9. Murphy put up a brilliant display and netted his first goals for the club. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/03/17/sleague-season-2009-match-5/
  10. Never heard of two keepers from the same team getting sent off in one game? Just happened last night to Sengkang. On the plus side, both Murphy and Anthony continue to impress, especially the latter who excelled on the right with his footwork and forceful runs. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/03/10/sleague-season-2009-match-4/
  11. Unlucky for Harris for striking the post twice, though I ain't gonna complain. We came back from the dead to draw the game. Anthony came on in the second half and were crucial in setting up the 2 goals. Good game. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/03/06/sleague-season-2009-match-3/
  12. Off day for both Murphy and Anthony. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/02/13/pre-season-friendly-report-6/
  13. To add on to updownslope, Murphy was on the bench for the game and only came on in the 62nd min, where his side was already 1-0 up. He did have a hand in the second goal, his long shot poorly handled by the keeper and allowed his striker teammate to tap in the rebound.
  14. The pleasure's mine. Hopefully both can excel and steer the club to new heights. Competitive action finally starts next week, and we are eager anticipating a great season ahead. Will keep you all updated on the duo's progress through the season.
  15. Another good outing for Murphy and Anthony. http://fishoutofwaterspfc.wordpress.com/2009/02/10/pre-season-friendly-report-5/
