  1. Nik Ledgerwood has signed with Energie Cottbus, until 2016. They were relegated from the 2.B and will surely be looking to gain promotion out of the third league. He follows a long line of canucks at that club. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/energie-cottbus/holt-holzfaeller-ledgerwood-36525810.bild.html http://www.fcenergie.de/news/nikolas-ledgerwood-bekommt-die-15

  5. This has been confirmed as a loan deal. http://www.tenfield.com.uy/2014/01/fenix-con-la-llegada-de-lucas-cavallini-son-cuatro-las-altas/#.UtRRr-KjHWF
  6. Although he has been linked with them the latest is that he will make a move to Fenix: http://www.tenfield.com.uy/2014/01/clubes-lucas-cavallini-se-intregra-el-lunes-a-fenix/#.UtM-vfRDsrU
  7. Today, Tenfield is reporting that Cavallini will go out on loan, but it is unclear as to where, as now Juventud (and El-Tanque Sisley, previously) have been implicated, but apparently Zaragoza is still a possibility. So no confirmation either way yet. http://www.tenfield.com.uy/2014/01/nacional-trabajo-en-dos-tandas-y-con-pelusso-hablando-con-juveniles/#.Usx_HeKjHWE http://www.tenfield.com.uy/2014/01/juventud-de-las-piedras-evaluaciones-y-espera-novedades-por-contrataciones/#.UsyAd-KjHWE
  8. From what I gather from this article Cavallini will not be going to Spain but will arrive at El Tanque Sisley's training camp tomorrow. Not sure but sounds like it will be a loan: "Seguramente este martes, estén llegando Caué Fernández cedido por Nacional sin costo y el canadiense Lucas Cavallini también de los tricolores, ya que finalmente no se va a España como se habla anunciado en su momento." http://www.tenfield.com.uy/2014/01/el-tanque-sisley-junior-arias-martin-galain-y-federico-laens-las-caras-nuevas-de-moller/#.Usspo-KjHWE
  9. It's some amateur rec team in Ontario that may not even exist?, looks like a Polish(Canadian) guy trying really hard to look like a pro in a german league, see the results against other Ontario teams on their twitter. https://twitter.com/SV1931 some Polish soccer forums talk about this Nowak player basically making this all up to try and get trials in Poland and elsewhere, they have made the link that Patrick Nowak is involved with Red Star Brampton of the Polish Canadian Soccer League. http://polishsoccer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15143 http://www.polishsoca.com/newswire/1-liga/2080-nowak-polish-coaching-needs-to-improve http://www.polishsoca.com/club-soca/player-database/1859-patrick-nowak Lots of smoke and mirrors some Poland fans even believed he is a real professional player : "ughh where is blazej patrick nowak.. his 7 goals for lauderbach 1931 should make him our top striker.." this was before the 2010 world cup.

  20. Interview with the one and only DIESEL http://www.rednationonline.ca/Interviews2012/RedNationInterviewSeriesPaulStalteri0413.aspx Paul Stalteri In this interview, RedNation and Paul discuss his recent retirement as a player, his exceptional career at the club and country levels, the current state of soccer in Canada, youth development in Germany and his current and future plans. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Paul Stalteri is one of the most distinguished Canadians ever to have pulled on pair of boots. He holds the all-time caps record (84 appearances) for the Canadian Men’s National Team and was part of the team that won the 2000 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Stalteri was twice named Canadian Player of the Year (2001 and 2004) and captained Canada on 30 occasions from 2007 to 2011. At the club level, Stalteri began his playing career in Canada with the Toronto Lynx in the former A-League before moving to Europe where he broke through at the highest levels of the game and played for German clubs Werder Bremen and Borussia Mönchengladbach and Tottenham and Fulham in the English Premiership. Stalteri was an integral part of the Werder Bremen side that recorded a memorable ‘double’ in 2003/2004 – winning both the Bundesliga Championship and Germany’s DFB Pokal Cup. He remains the only Canadian player to have earned a Bundesliga winner’s medal.
