  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bhstE6XLho Trialist Elva features as Arsenal U19s suffer disappointing defeat to Vietnam http://arsenalyouth.wordpress.com/ "Arsenal’s youngsters have some important matches on the horizon, with games to come in the latter stages of the FA Youth Cup, UEFA Youth League and the U21 Premier League Cup in the next few weeks, but their preparations suffered something of a blow yesterday when an Arsenal U19 side lost 3-0 to their Vietnamese counterparts in a behind-closed doors friendly at London Colney." "Arsenal were without several players who were on international duty, but still fielded a side containing the likes of Ryan Huddart, Tafari Moore, George Dobson, Elliot Wright, Arinse Uade, Renny Smith, Glen Kamara, Chris Willock and Austin Lipman. Canadian trialist Caniggia Elva (#10) also featured, with the striker coming close to scoring." "Arsenal U18s face West Ham United on Saturday morning before taking on Everton in the FA Youth Cup at Emirates Stadium on Monday."
  2. I would say so... http://espn.go.com/sports/soccer/news/_/id/5933045/how-qatar-became-player-world-soccer http://fourfourtwo.com/blogs/fourfourtwoview/archive/2011/10/05/the-battle-of-manchester-football-trafficking-amp-a-trip-to-the-seaside.aspx
  3. He will be playing with one of my players at the Dannone Cup in Brazil in October and he's at the same tournament as my son in Sweden (Gothia Cup) in a couple of weeks. I'll try and make a point of watching him as he's not in my son's age group (one year younger). Pretty impressive that he's been asked by the Dallas Texans to travel with them. Dallas Texans are a very big 'mega' club in Texas who recruit players from all over the US to go to tournaments like this. There are tons of good players in Texas alone so for him to be asked, he must be quite good. In saying that, judging players at 12 to be there at older ages is really difficult. He's a bigger kid than most and hopefully he will continue to develop and not just using his size to his advantage. Watching video of my little player who played at Dannone, Kristopher lokks very very good. Both were captains of their respective region (West/East). Best of luck to him and hopefully he stays free from high expectations that parents (yours truly included) and youth coaches can put on our sons/daughters and players to meet there potential. He sounds like he has a great support so best of luck!
