  1. we're going to do another one with Jason in three weeks, so if you miss this one, fret not. Nigel Reed will be doing one next week.
  2. got a question about the CSA or the Canadian national team you wanna ask Jason de Vos? Here's your chance. Live chat this Friday at 2pm ET at CBCSports.ca: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/fifaworldcup/features/story/2010/01/05/spf-blog-devos.html Cheers, John
  3. GOT A QUESTION? ASK AWAY! http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/fifaworldcup/features/story/2009/12/08/spf-devos-blog.html
  4. Jason is doing a follow-up to his previous "Offside: Fixing Canadian soccer" series that he published earlier this year. here's the 1st installment: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/blogs/2009/11/offside_fixing_canadian_soccer_6.html
  5. sorry that I couldn't get some of your questions. I tried to get in as many as I could, but we only had one hour. we're going to be doing these live chats with Jason fairly regularly (haven't worked out when they next one is), so if your question wasn't posted this time, try again in our next chat.
  6. it's going on right now, so be sure to stop by and ask a question of De Vos: http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/story/2009/11/09/spf-chat-de-vos.html
  7. Just to let you know, Jason has just written a new blog, this time presenting the Asmir Begovic story from the CSA's point of view. it will be published on CBCSports.ca sometime later today. John
  8. By all means, have your say and question Jason about this. Take full advantage of the opportunity. And no, J didn't write this blog just to build interest for the chat - we decided to do the chat long before he wrote the blog.
  9. The point of Jason's blog was only to present Asmir's side of the story - hence the headline. I don't think Jason necessarily agrees with it, but he just wanted to present the story from Asmir's perspective.
  10. I'm the one that is going to be moderating the chat on Friday, and I will be picking the questions that Jason will answer. So if you want to challenge him on this, feel free to submit your questions during the live chat. John
  11. No, he's not. moderation is done by an outside company hired by the CBC. make sure to set up a cbc online account first (should be a link at the bottom of his blog) - otherwise your comments won't get published.
  12. Jason is participating in a live chat for 1 hour this Friday at CBCSports.ca, so you can ask him direct questions about his blog then, if you like. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/story/2009/11/09/spf-chat-de-vos.html
  13. Just spoke to Stephen Hart. He confirmed that Lensky has turned down chance to play in Nov. frienflies and that he will play for Czech Under-21 team next week.
  14. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/soccer/story/2009/06/02/sp-live-blog-tfc-galaxy.html Want the inside scoop on Saturday's game between Toronto FC and the L.A. Galaxy?
