Because he's a black immigrant succeeding, especially in this racially and politcally dividing time, especially for a man like Jozy in America. If you have a problem with that, then I don't have time for you.
He's getting this transfer on merit, and he can be a role model for anyone (for myself as a child of latino immigrants, his story is very inspiring). But he is a black player, and for many black youths in sports, who are often marginalized, this is a wonderful story that can inspire them and others.

That is 100% accurate.  That's the US M.O. for everything, marketing and self delusion, but Pulisic to be fair is the real deal and has earned it with his performances for Dortmund as a teenager in the Champions League and Bundesliga.  As far as the US goes he's probably already their best player ever in terms of level attained imo.

I like what Henry is doing so far this season. The way he is playing right now for Vancouver puts him at the top of the depth chart for me.

Tabla and Davies on either side of Larin is a front 3 that potentially could rival any front 3 in CONCACAF over the next 8 years.  Davies and Tabla would cause havoc and Larin would get a ton of space/service, throw in Osorio behind them and we'll score a ton of goals.  Have to think a guy in Tabla's shoes with the World Cup in 2026 has every reason to stay with Canada.

You make some good points but hes not really a central player, hes more of a wide player who has lots of pace and ability taking on and beating players. He finishes fairly well but hes def not an out and out central striker from what I've seen of him in the EPL.
