From 2002 WCQ I have both games against Cuba, T&T, Mexico, and Panama. Unfortunately, I don't have access to them, as they are in Canada.

Canada won their last game 4-3 against Jamaica. No wonder they struggled a little, as they only had one day together before the tournament started. -
Most of those stadiums will be taken down after the world cup, and sent to third world countries. At least that is the plan, who knows if it will actually happen or not.

2018/2022 vote on Tuesday. Who do you want to win?

Wasn't that the whole point of the 1994 World Cup... to grow the game in the United States? That is why the United States got the World Cup. -
Justin Ammar (GK 1988) appears to be at SV Heimstetten in Germany. http://www.sv-heimstetten.de/cms/upload/Dokumente1/Saison_1011/Steckbriefe_1._Mannschaft/SpielerinfoAmmar.pdf

"VICTORIA — When former University of Victoria Vikes star Mariel Solsberg was playing women’s pro soccer in Denmark, little did she know she would one day have the same opportunity on Vancouver Island. Solsberg was one of the players on hand Wednesday as the Victoria Highlanders organization officially announced that its women’s squad will begin play this season in the USL W-League — considered the second-highest level of women’s club soccer in North America" http://www.canada.com/sports/soccer/Victoria+women+team+jumps+League/3914606/story.html

Sat down to watch the Perm-CSKA Moscow game today. It was the last round of the season, and you could imagine it was cold in Perm. Blowing snow all game, and temperatures well below -10C. Perm needed a win to ensure their survival. I still have to watch Zenit vs Krylya, so I haven't looked at the final standings or results.

"Getting a beach soccer team ready in Canada in winter is a challenge at the best of times. Even more so when you have to do it from a distance. With little money available, Canadian coach Ross Ongaro had to work his magic from afar ahead of the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup CONCACAF qualifying tournament, which starts Wednesday in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and runs through Sunday." http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/breakingnews/canadian-beach-soccer-players-meet-in-mexico-for-longshot-world-cup-bid-111079574.html -

I'd love to see Russia win 2018. As for the 2022, I couldn't really be bothered who wins, but I wouldn't mind Australia. -

A few futsal players on that list I believe. Does Bruno Xavier play for Benfica in the Portuguese futsal league? -
One of the best players of the Gambrinus Liga autumn season has to be Tomas Pekhart. Some people might have heard of him, as he was once considered a top prospect for Tottenham. He went there as a 17 year old, scored 19 goals in 20 games for their youth side, but an injury sidelined his progress. He is now playing with Jablonec, and has scored a goal a game in the last 10 games (total of 14). At the age of 21, he is still someone who could develop into the player everyone was expecting. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom%C3%A1%C5%A1_Pekhart

Andrew Kliment played 90 minutes for Bohemians Praha "B" (5th division) last weekend in a 3-1 loss away to FC Cechie Uhrineves. This was the last game before the winter break.
