  8. MLS ratings continue to stagnate, the potential to find CPL ratings that while not as high in total, can potentially offer a larger peice of pie for said team due to fewer teams present. Fan desire (espically in Montreal where MLS games don't draw anywhere near as well as Champion's League games) showing more of a vested rivalries against fellow Canadians and other local teams. Lacklustre gates and cash flow requiring it. Pressure to engage in a balanced scheduale across the board, which becomes harder and harder the more teams enter MLS. Pressure from a much stronger posistioned CSA risking d

  9. Yep I'm aware of that. Flying to SAP instead of TGU adds another $552 to the trip though so I'll stick with my original plan and try to find some dodgy Honduran bus service!

  12. We have a new welcome page at www.canucks-abroad.ca as well, to give some more transparency, etc... Sorry that I've been off the grid for a little while, but the team is keeping the project alive. Happy tracking!

    Fikayo Tomori

Tomori's play this month should be earn him an invitation to camp for the June friendlies. I hope Floro has spoken to him by now about his future with the NT. Canada shouldn't let Tomori's other options be the first to invite him to a senior camp/international.

  16. For those who might not realize he's being facetious (like myself who thought this was a friendly with a reserve Man City squad touring NA, until i remembered Man City played a UCL match yesterday) this was an MLS match against NYCFC.

    Canadian Premier League

The way I see it... La Liga in Spain is >Bundesliga>EPL>Serie A>>Ligue 1 France > Mexican League...yet no one argues that Liga and Ligue 1 aren't both Division 1 right? La Liga>>>Liga MX...who's to argue they aren't both division 1 Same for CPL. If CSA sanction it as D1, than that's what it's going to be..."title wise" Gameplay wise, I expect same or better than NASL with the expectation that it will surpass it very fast.

    2026 WC Bid?

The US doesn't need us to share a World Cup. If they bid its going to be all for themselves. As a Canadian I wouldn't want a shared World Cup either. That would basically mean we won't be awarded another World Cup for at least 50 years because we hosted a couple games with most of the turni being in the states.

    2026 WC Bid?

I think Canada could beat a competing Mexican bid (assuming there is no more bribing). FIFA needs a very safe world cup after a series of scandals and poverty stricken countries building stadiums that lay empty. Mexico has had it twice. Mexico has a lot of violence right now and huge drug wars. Consider a police chief or mayor of a world cup city being killed or a bunch of heads found at a world cup site. Those types of things are happening in Mexico now, it has to be considered it could happen in the future. Having a premier league that is essentially a youth and 3rd division leagu
