If Kelowna gets a club just know that 90% of the road trip will be spent at D Dutchmen, Log Barn and that one traffic light in Enderby that always takes 30 minutes to get though....

Deserve what? That's not the weather in Kelowna. If it's raining it's snowing on the Coquihalla nearly year round. That's just the way it is. I'm not going and not asking for money or another ticket or anything like that. It's a game for the people of the Okanagan. Hopefully it goes well and they get a team real soon. It's for the betterment of the game which means the soccer gods are behind them

natural grass field cold day and rainy and apparently a narrow field...will this advantage one of the teams? a bunch of small bleacher sets so has a local club or high school feel

I actually like the look of this , at least it looks full , has a better look than watching a game on TV with a few thousand in a massive stadium and 90 percent of the massive stadium seats empty .

Event management 101: provide a venue too small so that it looks more full.

Decent crowd but the soccer is barely watchable and is providing strong deja vu vibes from the CSL in the late 80s and early 90s when attempts were made to use gridirons that didn't cater for the extra width needed for soccer.

Agreed.

It almost looks like it wouldn't take much to make this a long term solution
