I don't know if this horrid result by Montreal is good or bad for Forge who visit CFM on Wednesday in the V's Cup, they are in complete disarray and I am hoping that will continue and Forge will have a chance at a shock result!

Basically I struggle to see a setup that would give Forge better ods against an upset then right now. We have our three best strikers off injured and three other key offensive pieces in the midfield off on injury and Saputo being Saputo has created two massive twins PR crisis who have distracted the team overall and have had an especially big effect on the one among our three best players who isn't injured.

Not taken anything away from Forge, mind you, as anyone can only play against who they face and they have done what they needed to get the result in Hamilton but that is very much the kind of mess that actually does not make a CPL club victory a shock for anyone like me who is quite familiar with what's going with MTL, altough it would still be very much an upset.

As to whether tonight is good or bad for Forge I'd lean toward bad myself. The other horrendous result we got this year saw us bump back well and win the next year and last year's game against Vaughan was in even worse circumstances in term of circumstances on the pitch but there was a sense of ''common, we are an MLS club so lets show it!'' in the time that helped turn things around in the to at least some degree (obviously Forge is better then Vaughan but the same thing could easily happen).
