So far, as of today, with only 3 years to go before Canada co-hosts the 2026 World Cup Final, the CMNT has played 0 international friendlies. How much money did the CSA spend flying, accommodating and feeding the CWNT on the 51 international friendlies they played in preparing for the World Cup Final that Canada hosted in 2015? Will this factor into the contact between the CSA and the players?

Obviously, the Voyageurs are far more interested in the CMNT than the CWNT. The numbers in the lead post of this thread confirm that. Therefore, why was there an unlimited amount of $$$ spent on the women's program, and the men have to beg for a single game a year against Japan. Let's face, the Christine Sinclair era is over. We are now into the Alphonso Davies era! It's time to wake up de Vos! This is happening on your guard!

The game times for the CWNT at this year's World Cup were not ideal for viewing... but I give you that the men are a much bigger draw.  Still, it is good to bring up that the women were able to play 51 GAMES!!! leading up to the 2015 World Cup... albeit not flying in business/1st class or staying at 5 star accommodation I'm sure. So maybe the CSA wasn't as broke as some are saying pre-CSB deal.

Another slightly unrelated observation... in the lead up to the Vancouver 2010 games, the Federal government started to pump large amounts of money into "the program" / athletes so we might actually "win" the Olympics.  I wondering how much lobbying has been done since winning the bid?  I know it's a bit apples and oranges, but still, pony up a bit so we don't suck and actually have a chance here.
