We have a place to meet up for next Thursday before the Panama game.
RiRa Irish Pub at the Mandalay Bay Hotel which is a 20 min walk to the stadium.

We have not made reservations BUT I have been assured they will staff up for us.  First come first served.

Please go there if you can and meet up with your fellow Vs.

Game time is 4 pm and they will be expecting us from 11 am.

I'll be there - unless they don't let me in.

Any idea on capacity at the pub compared to our section's ticket sales?

It is a decent size and they have a private room we were looking into booking out but it became too complicated and pricey.  Whether it will be able to handle all 300+ people with tickets in our section, who knows.

But as @El Hombre rightfully put there, the earlier people show up the better.

If RiRa is good, yes.  I’ve already spoken to their events manager and given them the heads up that we might go there Sunday.  But we won’t know what time we play until Thursday night

That's okay. Plan to get there in time for drinking before the first match, and if we're in the second match, get there at the same time and just drink for longer.

To anyone staying at Excalibur or nearby hotels - Wednesday evening my son and I will be in the TAP Sports Bar in Excalibur for a few drinks before we head off to a late dinner at Hell's Kitchen. Feel free to drop in and say hi, it would be great to meet a few more Canadian fans!

@JamboAlif you set up one of those fundraisers like for flags or tifos, we could do a Voyageurs Vegas betting fund. I'd throw in 10 dollars, maybe more.

All funds coming in are then immediately designated for slot machines or similar, and all "benefits" from that specific money played would then go to the Voyageurs general account.

For those doubting the legitimacy of such funding methods, it seems far more solvent than standard CSA accounting.

I’m staying at the OYO down the road, maybe I’ll swing by there

Update from Larry Zima who represented The Voyageurs at the Allegiant Stadium Security Briefing for tomorrow.  Thanks to Larry who attended while I was on a plane to Vegas.

Thursday Nations League Meet up Info

The V’s will be meeting up at the RiRa Irish Pub at the Mandalay Bay for a get together before the match. We will leave the pub around 2 pm for the march

Although the pub opens at 8 am they will be expecting us starting around 11. The pub is on the second floor above another place called the Flanker Kitchen and Sports Bar which we can take over if necessary. The stadium is a short 10 minute walk (1000 steps) away….or 30 minutes by the time we all get organized so. There is signage to the Allegiant Stadium throughout Mandalay Bay and a large area outside the doors if we need a group area. The bridge will be closed to vehicles on Thursday and Sunday so we will have room to march safely.

The stadium gates open at 2 pm with kickoff at 4 pm. Allegiant Stadium has prepared for us when we march over to use gates 1 to 4 on the north side of the stadium. As we are the first match of the day the stadium probably will not be jammed but we will be loud. The stadium is air conditioned and is quite comfortable. There are plenty of food and drink kiosks inside. They will be strictly enforcing the clear bag policy if you haven’t got one now the Raiders store just down from RiRa has some ranging from $10 to +$25 US dollars.

3X5 (and under) flags are allowed but cannot be hung up anywhere in the stadium, no flag poles of any kind are allowed so if you are bringing one it will have to be held. Supporter scarves are allowed also. No smoke is allowed inside the stadium security area, security will stop you and revoke your ticket if caught with it in the stadium. Outside the stadium it is okay (although I don’t think the RiRa would like it if it was set off inside!)

The Mexican and USA supporters will be both having tailgate parties at the stadium prior to our match at opposite sides of the area for some reason. Their match does not kickoff until 7 pm so if you plan on staying for both keep in mind that there is a NO re-entry policy in place so if you leave after our match you will be watching it on tv and if you stay at least you will have plenty of food and drink options.

Sunday meet up and march info will be decided after the Thursday match.

Lets get ready to cheer the boys on!
