Match Thread: June 4, 2022 - HFX Wanderers v York United

Match is at 3pm local time (2pm ET) on One Soccer. 

Wanderers won the previous meeting this season 1-0.

Very important game for the Wanderers.  These early to mid season games can get lost in the mix.  Pacific, Cavalry and Forge are starting to cement into the top three leaving one playoff spot left.  Ottawa is finding the single goal each game they need to take that spot.  York has a bunch of key players out due to cards… we need to take this one or we’ll have to climb Mount Everest to get back into the picture… which I’m not sure we can do.

My buddy went to his first game in Halifax and said the atmosphere was great.  Attendance was announced as 6224.

I was thinking that as well. They need him back soon, he brings experience and leadership that is missing with York United.
