Kent
I really hate how Canada is in the 3rd best pot out of 4 despite having a better CONCACAF Club Index than 6 teams in the best pot. I think Canada has a glass ceiling of the 3rd best pot by rule. Ivan

Kent
Based on how these countries historically have done, Verdes from Belize would be the easiest draw. Belize hasn't won or drawn a game in the last 6 competitions (that's all 5 CONCACAF Leagues, and 1 Champions League). The Caribbean teams next, with the Domincan Republic team possibly a bit easier, as Jamaican teams have made it to the CONCACAF League 5 times vs Dominican Republic 1 time. Those 5 Jamaican teams have combined for 4 wins, and advanced out of their first round 1 time. Waterhouse has made it to CONCACAF League 2 times, winning 1 game. After that things get tougher, with Guatemala and Nicaragua doing a bit better than Caribbean teams, and CD Aguila is probably the strongest team in the pot by a bit (if not Pacific). narduch and Metro

Club Linesman
A truly appropriate honour for the Gator. He is a terrify and a undeniable supporter of Canadian soccer. Gutted I was unable to stretches game to buy him a beer or three to celebrate this most deserving recognition. My best to Gator and John. narduch
Missed the draw due to a meeting. Pacific have drawn Waterhouse in the preliminary round. 2nd leg will be at Starlight Will have a tougher go if they advance. They will face a Costa Rican side. Aird25
I would love to go on a bit of a run. I’m really looking forward to these games shorty
Kingston
These are actually really useful games for our CPL teams. Much better for our player development than going to the CCL and getting tossed by some Mexican team in the first round. I'm going to miss the CL. Kent
So who is going to update Wikipedia with the draw results? Usually someone puts it up right away, but there is still nothing there.

So presumably there is at least one correction to be made on the wiki as well. narduch

narduch
For some strange reason Waterhouse FC started following me on twitter. Which I don't get as I mostly tweet about Ontario politics. ted
Kingston
I'm hoping Pacific can follow in Forge's footsteps and go deep in this tournament. In fact, Forge went one round further every year, so... ted

Unnamed Trialist
I think it's an accessible draw for Pacific, on paper they're one of the weaker teams. Return match at home. Point taken about Pacific's form lately, but this is in 6 weeks. Edited June 18, 2022 by Unnamed Trialist ted

Let's hope a return to form is begun by today's draw at York.
