Cavallini scores on his return to league play

From what I have seen of this match he is well up for it, for me he should be in the Qatar squad, he is different than all the other strikers on the CMNT and when a player like him gets on the boil he is tough to defend!

Minnesota down 2-0 late against SJ while RSL up in LA Galaxy- if these results hold Minnesota will drop out of a playoff spot with a game to go. St Clair had no chance on first goal as his own wall deflected a free kick past him. Haven’t seen the highlights of the 2nd goal yet

By the way, if it is a yellow for taking your shirt off for celebrating a nicely taken or last minute goals, they should hand out red cards for taking off your shirt when celebrating fluke goals in the 52nd minute when your team has already been eliminated from the playoffs, which Shea Salinas does in the Min-SJ match

I’d cut him some slack. It is his first goal of the season in what may be the last game of a 14 year career given his recent retirement announcement. He was a class act during his stay here in Vancouver.

His Maradona-esque run and winning goal vs Vancouver in MiB (aided by the personal escort of Whitecaps Patrick Metcalfe alongside 😉) is for what I will remember him for the most.  He's been a good MLS foot soldier so I would give him some slack, too, scoring in the penultimate game of his career.

columbus blows another lead in the last 15 minutes and orlando gets in and they are out...columbus has missed playoffs in 3 of the last 4 years and porter said before the season he was willing to bet his house they will make it this year haha
