MM3/MM2/MM
I was at the game in Hamilton with my son and we were talking about our first CMNT game. I took him to the game for his birthday, It was in September and I'm pretty sure it was 1978, the game was at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal. He told me on Sunday that was the day he fell in love with the game and has been a Paris St. Germain fan ever since. I did a search on-line and can't find anything about the game, anybody here recall this game? ray

An Observer
We also played Den Haag in Hamilton in late 80’s I think. I remember they wanted to sign John Fitzgerald but he didn’t want to leave the Blizzard (in the CSL) narduch

It's a shame, I would say even the club teams are better than today. When I see people usually at other sites or on Youtube posting about how our past teams were shit, it's annoying, and unfair that they didn't have what we have today. Makes you wonder what would have happened had the whore committed to Canada back then. Could he have been the catalyst that Davies has been for this generation. Even though he was a different type of player the profile and influence he could have brought to up and comers was lost. People probably tire of me saying this but at the time there where people who posted him playing for England would be the best thing to happen to Canadian soccer. It was the worst and it only validated a generation of players to think the same. It only changed the day a young man made a speech to the FIFA World Congress and became the first legitimate male soccer celebrity in Canada ray, kacbru, h coach and 5 others 7
