  • In this thread post match updates on all Canadians for October 15th to October 21st.
  • If you find updates posted in some other thread then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster.
  • If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here.
  • Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. If the news already appears in another thread (as per the previous bullet) then post your comments in that other thread, otherwise if you want to say something significant or if it is likely to generate replies then begin a new thread.

I've never seen him play, just 18 years old...Is he leaning toward committing to Canada?

Seems like he is on the fence.  Encouragingly, he played for us during Olympic qualifying, but that isn’t committing him so it may not really signify anything as all the duals know the rules and (understandably) look for their best opportunities for meaningful competition at the youth levels.

@JasonDiasmight know but I suspect it will be a while before we hear anything too concrete.

Arfield not in the line up for Rangers v Hearts.

Harry Paton starting for Ross County v St. Mirren. Ben Paton is on the bench.

Wotherspoon starting for St. Johnstone v Livingston

Harry went the distance and Ben subbed on in the 56th minute in a 3-2 loss.

Wotherspoon subbed out at the 63d minute in a 3-0 loss.

Buchanan on the bench for New England v Chicago.

No Johnston for Nashville tonight v DC.

Akindele on the bench for Orlando v Cincinnati

I like this. Let our horses get their rest on their clubs' time so they're good to go for 2-3 full matches in the international windows!

For the record, this feeling for international football only applies to Canada. Brazil can fuck right off selecting Liverpool players for their qualifiers! 😄
