^follow up note... I guess the problem with a taxi squad is that MLS plays games during international windows. Thanks MLS! (forgot about that)... I guess our taxi squad is Sturing, Ferreira and some CPL dudes! haha joke (no joke)

I wonder if he is related to Matteo Campagna, who was recently loaned out by the Whitecaps to York United.

Jonathan played on Sunday , likely traveled from France to Canada yesterday.

Albany's season is already underway and he doesn't look to be on their 2021 roster. This is at least his second camp with the MNT squad now after being named to the America East All-Rookie squad. Have to imagine he's aiming to get a professional look, Albany recently developed another pretty good defender in the Canadian soccer circle... Daniel Krutzen in the CPL.

He's surprisingly not in their squad and not injured as he was just red carded 3 days ago for his club team.

Weird marker to lay down for success. Going undefeated and getting 5 pts (one win, two draws) seems less ambitious than thinking we can lock down the 6 home points.  Aside from the basic mathematics, the danger of gifting Honduras an away point (and us dropping 2 at home) seems more damaging than giving up 3 points away in the US.

I think it is perfectly reasonable for us to expect 2 home wins out of this window, so not sure why he is aiming below this.  I agree that we are unlikely to win everything on home soil throughout this process, but these are not the games where those points should be conceded.  

Bottom line: 5 points out of this (2 home game) window doesn’t feel like a big success.

Although we will inevitably drop points somewhere (even if we qualify), expecting anything less than 15 points from our non-Mexico/US home matches is dumb.  We should be under-evens favourites in all five of those matches.
