Runnin' his mouth, raking a player, not much difference, either will get you a booking if you keep at it all-half-long.

Have to admit Aleman has me wondering what he's got.  Feels like if he could get his mind in front of his feet on any given play he's involved in he could be quite the player.  Maybe that'll come with more matches and some familiarity as the season gets on, we'll see.  Hope so.

Oh, and keeping Valour centric, Silva looks about as calm as a bomb out there.  Wow.  Hate to imagine what he'd be like in front of a few thousands in the grandstand.  Breath, man, breath.  It'll be OK.

Lars backed up Keller at Spurs (2 years?) and didn't get a minute.

Can someone watching on TV explain why that wasn’t a goal? This reffing has been… questionable.

New rule. AJB was too close to the wall. By the letter of the law, it's not clear he was.

AJB was within a meter of the defending wall.  Measured at 10 meters from the spot kick, a wall being 3 plus defending players in-line.

Quite right.  He knows better.

OK, it's getting weird out there.

Extremely poor second half of football from all involved after a good first half.

Went both ways but not the ref's best night.

Ugly result for Valour but Gale has only himself to blame by playing his backup keeper. Silva wears the goat horns on both goals against.

Have to admit probably the 1st match I've watched where a Valour player isn't MoTM.

Good signals though, but not our best night.

That ref didn’t have a lot of fans in stadium tonight.

On the plus side Rea and Ulloa looked great.

All on Gale there. Just no need to drop the keeper. 

Possibly the worse CPL game I have watched. Players falling down, ragged passing, no real thought or tactical awareness or discipline. Almost as though these relentless 2 games a week with next to know pre-season and tiny squads is catching up with teams.
