Ozzie_the_parrot
For something to happen by 2022 there needs to be a suitable stadium readily available. If this isn't a case of attracting more followers by tantalizing people telemarketing style with stuff they want to hear, provisional expansion announcements similar to the Saskatoon one are the most likely scenario. m-g-williams
Mayhaps he's teasing that Quebec City and Laval are indeed the expansion sides? johnyb

Pottsy3
Idk if this is new, but I've seen us complain about TSN's absolute disregard of the CPL and so I found it interesting to see that Sportsnet is now offering general articles updating about normal CPL games. https://www.sportsnet.ca/soccer/article/salter-scores-late-hfx-wanderers-pull-draw-york-united/ Cheeta, Kadenge, johnyb and 2 others
Ingham
The expansion news is promising but I don't think we'll hear anything until the off-season. The Manuel Veth rumour was either poorly worded or just another teaser. Attendances will improve hugely when there are more teams though. It's the Canadian way. An Observer
Attendance will approve greatly when they have a proper schedule that can be marketed well in advance with no or few mid-week games... Agreed - just play the season and deal with it after. My two cents: I think there will be a west coast team and then one of the teams from PLSQ or L1O will make the jump. My guess would be Blue Devils or AS Blainville. Or if you wanna be crazy the Serbian White Eagles.
Cheeta
If something is happening wouldn't expect news until the season is getting onto playoff time. Playoffs pumping the leagues profile. Expansion news pumping the league's profile. Maximize the positives, that sort of thing. Quebec franchise has to be coming down the pipe. After that don't know. Unnamed Trialist
It's pretty obvious that for all the talk about the Fraser Valley there hasn't been one single clear message from a mayor or municipality in its favour. And not one moneyed potential owner saying a word. And that in an area with lots of kids playing and producing some quality too. So I'm tired of this lame business of making lists on paper about which cities would be best. An initiative like in Saskatoon trumps it all. I also seriously doubt the Pacific owners would bail on the team, as inferred here, after so much effort, including local community, training facilities and so on. rkomar
