Ozzie_the_parrot
If the verdict from Bob Bradley is get rid of this guy then maybe they weren't going to risk an injury that could complicate getting him off the roster in some way. I was mildly suprised Soteldo played for that sort of reason. The new coaching regime will no doubt want their own people in where the DP slots are concerned. gator
Shway
Love Jozy, he’s a legend. The amount of memories he brought to BMO. But his story is being tainted as Mr. OHIP. The last time he played over 23 MLS games was in 2016 - crazy. I’ll pray for him that wherever he ends up, he’s healthier cause lord knows he won’t be. Shway
Oh yea, and I also pray Ali Curtis gets these next moves right, because he has a loottt of money to play with. And I don’t want to see TFC return to the past of the ever rotating door of managers and players. Dominic94, Ruffian and Club Linesman 2

I don't trust the current management with that. canuckgbp, Ruffian and Dominic94 2

I don't think Curtis has gotten a fair shake yet, considering the regime he came under. Just like Chris Armas. They inherited a lot of aging guys, in which Vanney knew was a ship going under and bailed out quickly like Alex Ferguson did. Armas was trying to implement a system with a bunch of guys who didn't want to adapt to it. It goes to the saying of "you can't teach an old dog new tricks", and I'll tell you what, TFC has a lot of old dogs that they will finally get rid of. Reality is TFC has nearly 2M in general cap space. TAM space, and possibly 2DP slots. This offseason will be really interesting on all fronts. Old guys leaving, new guys coming in, young player retention. Dominic94

canuckgbp
Maybe they do mean business. Manning can't have a long leash with the contract they just gave Curtis not to long ago. Add Curtis buyout with Armas and now Altidore.... I know MLSE has mountains of money but it isn't a good look. Onward and upward.
Ozzie_the_parrot
From what I've read elsewhere they are seriously considering calling it the Lower Division League, which seems a bit odd in marketing terms. Doubt Bob Bradley (presumably) would have wanted Curtis around so no shock there. They need to clear out the old regime and let the new guy be coach-GM initially and hire his own team to hit the reset button.
Dominic94
It’s the right move, he hired Armas, he maintained the status quo this year with the cb’s, he signed Dwyer… he got it all wrong. would imagine Soteldo is next out the door, and Perez won’t be around longer. kudos to Manning for making this move, it shows they’re serious about winning. Bison44
Or to put it another way, he has 5 more wins than the coach with the least amount of wins ever, Armas. His win % also put him 7th out of 11 TFC coaches, right behind Winter but above Nelsen. "There are lies, god damn lies and then there are statistics." Metro
^^ I believe 100% he was following orders. How does it make sense to keep starting Dwyer unless you're the guy who signed him? 😄 Edit: Not that I think he should have stayed. Bison44
And Dwyer will be back next year...wooo hooooo!!! Just think we could have held onto Jordan Hamilton and he would have likely banged in 2-4 a season on those same minutes we gave Mullins and Dwyer. Cheaper too. gator, Ivan and narduch
