Denmark

[NBL, T2] TFC's Noble Okello has the start for Køge against Helsingør. Fellow TFC-loanee Rocco Romeo is on the bench for HBK.

  • update: HBK won 2-1 against Helsingør in their final home match of the year. Noble went the full 90' and had a solid defensive performance by the sounds of HBK's twitter feed. Rocco saw the final couple minutes of stoppage time, coming on in the 90+2' to kill some time off the clock after Køge took the lead in the 89th minute.

JAPAN

[J3] Noah Kenshin Browne has the start this morning for Kamatamare Sanuki against Kataller Toyama.

  • update: Noah is off after 64'. Kamatamare are down 2-0 to Kataller with 20 minutes to go on the clock.
  • FT: Game finishes 2-0 to Kataller who started the day in 5th. Sanuki now sit in 16th of 18 teams in the J3 League, with the consolation that no relegation is occurring this season due to a combination of the JLeague's licensing rules for semi-pro/amateur teams finishing top of the JFL (regional 4th tiers) and on-going knock-on effects from the pandemic.

 

SINGAPORE

[SPL] Danial Scott Crichton has the start for Young Lions this morning against Tanjong Pagar.

  • update: Danial is off after 65', having been booked in the first half. Young Lions look to be high and dry for 7th, with a 3-1 lead at the moment.
  • FT: 4-2 at the final whistle for Young Lions as they secure a 7th-placed finish, simultaneously handing Tanjong wooden spoon honours on the season.

[SPL] Jordan Webb has the start for Tampines Rovers against their Eastern Derby rivals Geylang Int'l.

  • FT: Jordan goes the full 90' in a 1-1 draw, with Tampines having to settle for 2nd after Albirex beat Hougang 1-0 earlier in the morning. 

 

RUSSIA

[FNL] Richie Ennin has the start for Tom Tomsk against Neftekhimik.

  • FT: Richie had the full 90', as Tomsk fall 2-0 to Neftekhimik. The team was hamstrung early by an own goal that opened the scoring in the 35th.

BELGIUM

[JPL] Charles-Andréas Brym has the start for Mouscron against Waasland-Beveren.

  • update: Brym has the ball in the back of the net after 14 minutes on the clock, but it's overruled for an offside by a teammate in the buildup.
  • update #2: Brym was subbed off after the hour mark.
  • FT: Mouscron lose 2-0 to Waasland-Beveren after Brym's initial goal was ruled off-side. Brym sees 60' in the loss.

 

ENGLAND

[CH] Junior Hoilett is on the bench for Cardiff, as they go unchanged against Watford.

  • FT: Junior saw the final 21', as Cardiff dug out a vintage 1-0 away win over Watford.

[L1] Jayson Leutwiler has the start in goal for Fleetwood against local rivals Blackpool.

  • FT: Jayson goes the distance between the sticks in a 1-0 loss to Blackpool.

[U18] Marcelo Flores has the start for Arsenal U18 against Leicester U18 in U18PL South action.

  • FT: Marcelo went the full 90', as Arsenal ran out 2-1 winners on the day.

[BL] Omar Marmoush is on the bench for Wolfsburg against Köln.

  • FT: Omar saw the dying minutes of a 2-2 draw against Köln.

[3L] André Hainault is on the bench for Kaiserslautern against Duisburg.

  • FT: André was an unused sub in a 2-2 draw.

[3L] Caniggia Elva has the start for Ingolstadt against Lübeck.

  • FT: Caniggia saw 86' today, putting in another good shift in a 1-1 draw.

[PRM] Yuri Ruh Dos Santos has the start for College 1975 against Glacis United.

  • FT: Yuri went the full 90', as College were once again drubbed, 5-1 this time against Glacis.

 

CHILE

[PRM] Juan Córdova is on the bench for Huachipato against Colo Colo.

  • FT: Juan was an unused sub for Huachipato in a 2-2 draw.

Update - Goal and 62 minutes in a 2-1 win.

 

Scottish Premiership 

Ross County host Rangers

Harry Paton starts for Ross County; Arfield on the bench for Rangers. 

Update - Paton goes 90' and Arfield comes on in the 66' minute.  0-4 Rangers win.

[CL] Youcef Béchou is on the bench for CR Belouizdad (Algeria) against Al-Nasr (Libya).

  • FT: CR Belouizdad win 2-0 in the second leg to proceed into the first qualifying round of the CAF CL. 4-0 was the score on aggregate across both legs.

 

FRANCE

[L1] Jonathan David has the start for Lille at home against Monaco.

  • update: JD9 has his second career goal after 53'!
  • update #2: Jo subbed off after 62', likely just to keep him match fit and rested.
  • FT: JD's goal was the opener in a 2-1 win for Lille over Monaco.

 

GERMANY

[2BL] Scott Kennedy is on the bench for SSV Jahn away at Erzgebirge Aue.

  • update: Scott is on after 68' to make his return from an injury suffered 2 weeks ago against Fürth.
  • FT: Scott sees the final 22' in a 2-0 win for Jahn away at Aue.

 

ITALY

[SRC] Axel Desjardins is on the bench for Novara away at Grosseto.

  • FT: Axel didn't need to be called into action today, as Novara played to a 1-1 draw with a late penalty equalizer against Grosseto.

PORTUGAL

[PRM] Stephen Eustáquio has the start for Paços against SL Benfica.

  • FT: Stephen went another full 90' with a solid performance, as Paços had the opening goal and nearly held Benfica to a 1-1 draw before conceding a winner to Benfica in the 94th.

 

USA

Minnesota with St. Clair in goal and Edwards not in the squad has taken a 2-0 lead on Seattle and is most likely winning the western conference and going to mls cup..so at least one canadian will win mls cup this year..will it be backup jordan hamilton on one side or st. clair and edwards on the other

Kind of hard to blame them when they’re doing very well in the league for a newly promoted team. You’d think they’d try to get a bit more out of their investment though. Hopefully at least a loan in January or something.
