MLS playoffs

Tajon Buchanan starts at RB as New England face the Impact. Zachary Brault-Guillard and Anthony Jackson Hamel start for the impact and Pantemis, Giraldo, Sirois, Yao and Bayiha are all on the bench. Piette is suspended and I don't know why Waterman isnt in the squad.

Liam Millar is captaining Liverpool U23s against Southampton in Premier League 2 action. He's playing left wing. He rattled the bar from about 20 yards out on the 19th minute and has a few decent short runs and a couple of good passes, so far. It's nil-nil in the 29th minute, right now.

It's the first game at the Kirkby Academy since the first team moved in next door earlier in the week, and Jurgen Klopp is there to watch. Great opportunity for Liam to be seen in a week when 4-5 of his U23 teammates have been called up to first-team training.

42nd minute, Liam broke through off the left-wing, but the 'keeper stopped him one-on-one. Jurgen was on his feet for that one!

Half-time - nil-all.

Steven Hunter and Chris Kirkland, the in-house commentators for LFCTV are raving about Liam during the half-time break and suggested that Jurgen and his coaching team have been on their feet every time he's made a run down that left-wing, which happens to be the side where they're sitting. Positive signs.

Here are full highlights from the Besiktas match, looked very exciting. Glad to see Besiktas crawling up the table and also beating Basaksehir, which is the artifically propped-up club serving the image of the Erdogan regime.

Atiba was involved in many more plays, had a couple other near assists for goals, and on one play was ready for a clear shot in the box when the ref failed to give play-on and called a previous foul in their favour outside the box.

Fun fact about Basaksehir they have finished no worse than 4th place since coming in but have also had the worst attendance record of every team in super lig and it's not really close.
