Finished 5-3 Liverpool. I don’t say this much (say he played well)but that was Liams best game in a Liverpool shirt unplayable in the first half. The rb pulled at half time ... only thing missing was

James with the start in central defense for Midtjylland vs Randers.

ITALY

Axel Desjardins was on the bench for Spezia in their 4-1 loss to Sassuolo in Serie A. This was Spezia's first Serie A match in their history.

It looks as though Spezia has signed another keeper (Rafael).  In the game logs it seems Spezia dressed 3 keepers (Zoet, Rafael, Krapikas) but none were Desjardins... I wonder if his situation has changed?

Google had him listed as being on the bench, but the official Serie A match report does not. He was however one of the 25 players called up for the fixture, so he is still with the club.

Since a team can only dress 23 players in the matchday squad, he was likely one of the two left off.

Premier League 2

Theo Corbeanu starts against Stoke City U23

A Corbeanu cross turns into a Stoke own goal, after it takes a deflection off the defender and into the net:

This one finishes 3-0 to Wolves' U23s, with Corbeanu creating the first goal with an incisive pass to an onrushing teammate and the third goal as seen above.

Boakye played the entire game as striker for Lok Leipzig (against Energie Cottbus). Interestingly enough, there was a second Canadian playing for Lok: Ntignee played 17 m minutes in a 1-1 draw. Never heard of this kid before.

In the same Division (D4 Nordost), Prasad entered in the 85th minute for Bischofswerdaer at BAK '07 (3-1).

EDIT: there is of course this: https://www.transfermarkt.com/lokomotive-leipzig-sign-goteh-ntignee-arrives-from-victoria-highlanders/view/news/368754
