Just watched Ivan Mamic's game with NK Medjimurje of the Croatian 2nd league on you tube(pretty quiet at work today). He played the 1st half as a DM and moved to CB in the 2nd. Looked apprehensive at first, but was more comfortable as the game progressed. Has good size for a CB although he might lack speed. The game ended in a 2:2 draw.

Some random Canadian WhoScored MLS rankings for the regular season:

Osorio leads the pack at 71.

PIette and Laryea are in the 110s.

Brault-Guilaard was One-Seventy-Something.

Alistair Johnston jumped from near the bottom or something awful to about 200.

MAK s in the low 200s.

So, 26 teams with a rotation of around 15 players each that play regularly, being somewhat conservative, is around 400 players (390).  That puts Osorio well into the top quarter of players in the league thus far, with Piette and Laryea very close to the upper quartile.  ZBG is well within the top half of players in the league at age 21.  Johnston (also 21) and Kaye (who everyone says is having a down year so far) are around the 50 % mark.

Had to find a reason why he hasn't been as good. He seems to be fit, he doesn't seem to have any decrease in mobility. Perhaps it is the players around him and the state of the team. Aside from Diego Rossi everyone seems to be in decline at the moment, aside from Jakovic (oddly enough). So maybe it is just a team thing, rather than a Kaye thing. Teams go through ups and downs and they are missing Vela which no doubt is a psychological loss.
