Kent
From a discussion in the Alphonso Davies thread I got curious about how many Canadians, man or woman, that have played in a Champions League final, in any confederation. My scientific process for researching this was to look up on Wikipedia to see if I could find who played in each final, and looked at the flag beside their name. Here is what I found. Kadeisha Buchanon and Alphonso Davies are the only players to win the final! Note that if a Canadian represented a different country internationally, they didn't make this list. AFC Men (2003-2005 no data. 2006-present) 2018 - Adam Hemati Lost w/ Persepolis (subbed out second leg) AFC Women (2019) Round robin, no final. CAF (1997-present, about half of them no data) None CONCACAF Men (2009-present) 2011 - Will Johnson Lost w/ Real Salt Lake (both legs full games) 2015 - Patrice Bernier Lost w/ Montreal (subbed in both legs) 2015 - Maxim Tissot Lost w/ Montreal (subbed in both legs) 2018 - Jonathan Osorio Lost w/ Toronto (both legs full games) 2018 - Ashtone Morgan Lost w/ Toronto (subbed out first leg, played full second leg) 2018 - Jordan Hamilton Lost w/ Toronto (subbed in second leg) 2018 - Jay Chapman Lost w/ Toronto (subbed in second leg) 2020 - Mark-Anthony Kaye Lost w/ Los Angeles FC (full game) CONMEBOL Men (only checked from 1990-present) None CONMEBOL Women (no data until 2015) None OFC (2007-present) None UEFA Men (1955-present)2020 - Alphonso Davies Won w/ Bayern Munich UEFA Women (2002-present)2017 - Kadeisha Buchanon Won w/ Lyon 2017 - Ashley Lawrence Lost w/ Paris Saint-Germain2020 - Kadeisha Buchanon Won w/ Lyon Edited December 23, 2020 by Kent Added Kaye Free kick, Red and White and Trois Reds

I can’t remember if there were any that weren’t from TFC or the Impact. I didn’t keep track.
Bison44
Are we not counting Dero/Onstad in San jose..winning 2 and then winning 2 more in Houston, with Serioux for good measure on 1 of them. I think Hainault also got into a couple finals with Dynamo later on.

Dicdan
well Concacaf was only checked since 2009 but what about the past MLS finalists ? LA Galaxy (1997 & 2000) and DC (1998) i know that Aunger was a DC member that times but did he made the finalmatch in 1998?

I just spent about 30 seconds checking and couldn’t find any lineups for those games. I originally didn’t go further back mostly out of laziness and a bit due to back in those days the MLS teams didn’t have to leave the USA to win it all, which makes it more Mickey Mouse in my opinion. But if someone can confirm/prove any other Canadians were in a continental club final, I’ll be happy to add them to the list. I’m hoping we get another lady or two on the list on Sunday! narduch
This thread got me thinking, has a Canadian ever played in the FIFA Club World Cup? Davies and Bayern are set for the semi-finals on February 8.
