Does that mean that Verdes would have to forfeit the tie?

“Further information will be provided in due course.”

I am guessing they might wait a couple days and retest to see if it is still actively spreading or something. The next round is scheduled for next week so not a lot of time to get the game in, so it may end up being a forfeit. All purely speculation on my part.

I'm excited for the Forge match tonight, like most people, I have no idea what to expect, quite honestly I am surprised this competition has gone ahead! I trust Bobby to have the team well prepared, they did quite well last season in this competition, this is quite a lay off between matches but nothing is normal these days!

I wonder whats up with the postponed games. One wasn't related to covid tests it was a team not following protocols. Would have thought those games would have been played by now

Alajuelense v Cibao has been rescheduled for Nov 4. Its the reason they moved the Forge match time.

Verdes dropped out so Arcahaie advance.

Despite the poor condition of Rommel Fernandez's grass, it was decided to play there. Only minor improvements will be made to the stands, the facade and air conditioning. By the way, the game will be behind closed doors, until now the public has not been authorized .

On the other hand, yesterday Tauro FC drew against Alianza 2-2 in its second match of the Panamanian league tournament.

I sort of predicted this would happen. Probably lessens the chances of Forge hosting any games.

Yes, it lessens the chances of Forge hosting any games from “some” chance, to “zero” chance. Forge was seeded last for this year’s CONCACAF League.
