I still think he had among the best left foots in the pool.

I’m quite surprised to hear this TBH. Apparently I need to watch more Raheem Edwards

Scotland

Harry Paton starts against Motherwell

Won a pk, Ross is up by a goal at half. Exits the game after 63 up 1-0

Fully expect he plays more this year, last year he didn’t get many minutes against the Glasgow sides

Friendly

Frank Sturing came on in the 61st for NEC Nijmegen in a friendly against  De Treffers. Final was 2-0 for NEC
From what I understand he is just training with the club and has no intention of signing again.

“Eligible to play Canada”

Omar Marmoush starts on the bench for Wolfsburg in their Europa League matchup with Shakhtar Donetsk.

UPDATE

Marmoush enters at 61 minutes, the commentator refers to him as Canadian and not Egyptian........interesting.

Wolfsburg press hard but Shaktar get 3 late goals to win the tie 5-1.

Arfield just entered the game for the last 25 minutes if ayone is interested.  Rangers is down 4-1 on Aggregate at the moment, and no one in Canada carries Scottish football these days, so last chance to see him play for a while ... or maybe not as Rangers start the next season of Europa League on September 17th ...
