In this thread post match updates on all Canadians abroad for May 8th to May 14th If you find updates posted in some other thread then post them here as well, but be sure to credit the original poster. If there is news that is particularly significant (eg. someone scores a big goal, someone gets injured, etc.) then feel free to begin a new thread on that topic in order to draw greater attention or start a discussion, but also post that news here. Some comments on news posted in this thread are okay, but let's not let this thread go off into a long discussion. BBC has taken pity on the nation and is showing this live. Looking pretty good so far, though his team just went down to 10 men in the 70ish minute. Edit: I just say that and he probably should have done better with a header that led to the current losing goal. El Diego Posted May 8, 2020 Share Posted May 8, 2020 I thought Henry did well for the most part. Almost had a couple of signature brain farts but didn't in the end. He had three absolute laser beam long balls that found their man (and one that didn't), and I thought his decision making with the ball was mostly good. Thought being in the middle of a back 3 suited him, but one of those centre backs needed to step into midfield more. Suwon had no answers (even before going a man down). baulderdash77 Posted May 9, 2020 Share Posted May 9, 2020 It was great to watch some live sports for the first time in a long while. Doneil looked good in the middle of a back 3. He has a really good breakup right in front of the net and a couple great passes up. On the goal he was a bit late reacting to the corner that conceded a goal.
