Markoaleks
Before he transferred to Zvezda, there were numerous links that had him going everywhere in Europe too, this is click bait He does not even start regularly for Red Star so not sure if a move to this level of team is plausible Also, Stefan Tomori will regret his cap tie and not choosing Canada, he would have played a lot for us over the next few years in various completions ( Gold Cup, Nations League) then we will for Serbia - he would fill a position of need narduch

VinceA
Not called up for Serbia's January camp that features a lot of local players (and some MLS guys, Petrovic from NE, Joveljic from LA and Veselinovic). There are no Red Star guys so perhaps he was never going to get called. But otherwise... ayyy lmaoooo Edited January 11, 2023 by VinceA Metro, narduch and Corazon
Markoaleks
Saw that too- no Zvezda nor Partizan players called in- a non-FIFA window so some NA players such as Ranko V and others from elsewhere. Would not read too much into his situation on this game but that said, am certain he will be effectively “Fiyako’d” with the decision he ….errr dad made Literally feel he could have be called in by us for Qatar but is 6 mins v Armenia a better place to ply his international trade! narduch
Olympique_de_Marseille
No angry comment from his dad Ivan. Dunno if that is because he only lashes out at the CSA and not the Sebian FA or if it is because Stefan would not have been available in the first place. A.D.I.D.A.S.
Apparently... Edited February 7, 2023 by A.D.I.D.A.S. The report also says he's a natural left winger, can also play right wing and in midfield. Can he really dislodge a 19 year old Gavi from left wing or a healthy Ousmane Dembélé on the right? Seems like a Joan Laporta fantasy signing to me. SerTwenty

narduch
Sorry I haven't followed Star too closely in awhile but is he even a regular starter? He's hardly tearing up the Serbian league

In fact, every rumour out today, in Sport, Mundo Deportivo and Marca, other media outlets, solely cite Ivan. Who sends this out a few days after the transfer window has closed and when the team is leading the league by 8 points. He's too old to sign for the B team, and probably a long way from what we need to start rebuilding a midfield after Busquets leaves. Pedri, de Jong, Kessie, Gavi_____oh yeah and Stefan Mitrovic, no fotis! narduch

narduch
There was another rumour that an MLS club was going to pay 6-7 million for him. I wonder if it's not going as well as expected at Red Star and Ivan is just trying to flood the market with rumors

Doubt it. He's already played for Spain u19. Though it's a cool case where really no one knew of him, Celta let him go young, then his father played in Spain but he wasn't that well known either. Mother is Spanish, similar case to Bojan Krkic. I haven't watched him, they say he's good.

He's a good bet to start the first leg against Real Madrid in the Champions League next week. Unnamed Trialist
