FA Cup

Leutwiler starts against Birmingham

GOAL! Birmingham 2-1 Blackburn (Bela 90)

Ten-man Birmingham have nicked it! Jeremie Bela moves into the area and sidefoots a low cross-shot through the keeper Jayson Leutwiler. That was poor keeping and even worse defending, with all the Blackburn players backing away from Bela in the area.

Elva came off the bench and scored 2 goals in a 6-3 friendly win with St. Gallen (currently 3rd in Swiss top teir)

Impressive. I hope he wasn't involved in NT camp due to club commitments and not because he's been overlooked. Very positive to read and I hope he brings that form into the 2nd half of his season.

Could be that he isn't eligible yet - his only previous action was in a u23 friendly tournament when he was ineligible for Canada (Davies did similar for Canada at the U17/U20 level in 2016/2017).

I remember speculation that he didn't play in October 2017 when he was called up because he wasn't eligible.  The true hilarious thing is that we played and lost to El Salvador in that match!  How great would it be now if that was unofficial.
